Equipment & Permits

On this page you can see all of the equipment that we use here at Rapid Skips to ensure that we provide the absolute best service possible. You can also find the necessary permits that you may need to download and fill out from your local council if you intend to place your skip on the road.

Equipment

All of our trucks and equipment are fitted with satellite tracking and 2-way radios, so we are in constant touch with our offices to provide you with the best service possible.

We use Nissan UD PK16 for all our deliveries and pickups. Some features are;

  • 280hp Intercooled Turbo Diesel engine
  • Allison Automatic Transmission
  • 16,000 KG GVM
  • Hoist (Marrell Lift) Telescopic DS120

We also use a 55J IHI Excavator and Bobcat to sort and manage all our rubbish.

Please contact us for all your rubbish removal needs.

Permits

If you’re intending to place your skip bin on the road, where it may interfere with traffic, you may need a permit from your local council.

These permits are required to ensure that the placement of skip bins does not pose a hazard to public safety, traffic flow, or the environment.

To obtain a skip bin council permit is easy.  You just need to complete the application form and then contact the council.

If you’re unsure if you need a permit or not, it’s no problem, just contact our expert and they can guide you to what you need.
